Meet Dr. Andy Game
A Charleston native, Dr. Andy Game believes the best dentistry helps people keep healthy, confident smiles for life. At Stono Dental Care, his mission is to help patients preserve their natural teeth whenever possible through prevention, patient education, and modern, evidence-based dentistry. When teeth cannot be saved, he enjoys restoring comfort, function, and confidence through comprehensive restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry—helping patients regain healthy, functional smiles that last for years to come. He believes healthy teeth and gums play a significant role in healthy aging and longevity by supporting proper nutrition, speech, confidence, and overall well-being throughout life.
Dr. Game earned bachelor’s degrees from the College of Charleston, followed by a Master of Business Administration from The Citadel and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He then completed a hospital-based General Practice Residency at the Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Medical Center, the University of Oklahoma Medical Center, and the University of Oklahoma Children’s Hospital. There, he received advanced training in oral surgery, dental implants, restorative dentistry, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, anesthesia, and the care of medically complex patients.
Dr. Game is committed to lifelong learning because he believes his patients deserve the highest quality, evidence-based care. He has completed nearly 2,000 hours of advanced continuing education, far exceeding South Carolina’s continuing education requirements. His advanced education includes implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, full-mouth rehabilitation, sedation dentistry, oral surgery, occlusion, digital dentistry, and comprehensive treatment planning. Dr. Game has completed the continuing education requirements for Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and plans to complete the Fellowship examination as he continues pursuing advanced professional education.
While Dr. Game believes nothing replaces healthy natural teeth, he has placed and restored well over 1,000 dental implants to help patients whose teeth could not be saved regain comfort, function, confidence, and quality of life. Whether treating a single tooth or rebuilding an entire smile, his goal is always to help patients eat comfortably, smile confidently, and maintain excellent oral health for years to come.
To provide precise, comfortable, and efficient care, Dr. Game uses advanced technology throughout Stono Dental Care, including 3D CBCT imaging, digital intraoral scanners, guided implant surgery, 3D printing, and artificial intelligence-assisted radiographic analysis and surgical planning. These technologies improve diagnosis, treatment planning, precision, and patient comfort while making treatment more predictable and efficient.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Game has co-authored 14 peer-reviewed scientific publications and more than 20 scientific presentations and research abstracts, reflecting his commitment to advancing dentistry through education and evidence-based care.
The most rewarding part of dentistry for Dr. Game is seeing patients become healthier and more confident. Whether helping someone relieve pain, restore a worn smile, or simply maintain healthy teeth for life, he values building lasting relationships with patients and their families. Outside the office, Dr. Game enjoys spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and their daughter, McKay. He also enjoys traveling, boating, following college football, exercising, and is continually learning about health, longevity, and healthy aging.
