Dr. Andrew “Chase” Price grew up in a small town named Shelby in western North Carolina. He went to the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill for undergraduate studies, receiving a degree in business administration. He then received his dental degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore.
In dental school, Dr. Price was selected as an Air Force Health Professions Scholarship recipient and became an Active Duty Air Force dentist after graduation from dental school. His first assignment was an AEGD residency at Barksdale AFB in Shreveport, LA. In residency, Dr. Price received advanced training in many areas of dentistry including prosthodontics, implant placement and restorations, endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and conscious sedation.
After residency, Dr. Price served 4 years at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, AL. He provided comprehensive dental services to Active Duty patients during this assignment. A lifelong enthusiast of Charleston, Dr. Price was then able to then get an assignment to JB Charleston where he served the Active Duty population for two additional years. Dr. Price and his family enjoyed their time in Charleston enough to leave the military to settle down in West Ashley. He considers it an
honor to have served his country for over seven years as an Active Duty Airman and continues to serve as a Major in the Air Force Reserves.
Dr. Price is blessed with a beautiful family including wife Joanne, daughter Morgan, baby son Davis, and border collie mix Domino. He enjoys spending the majority of his free time hanging with the family especially at the pool and beaches during the summer. He is also a sports enthusiast with a love for almost all sports but especially football, basketball, and golf.
